At Salem Baptist Church, our Worship Ministry exists to glorify God by leading our church family into meaningful, Spirit-filled worship that exalts Christ and transforms lives. We are committed to creating environments where people of all generations can encounter God, grow in their faith, and use their gifts to serve others. Through music, media, and creative expression, we strive to point every heart toward Jesus and reflect the core values of our church: Pray First, People Matter, Growing People Change, and The Gospel Is for Everyone.
In addition to leading worship, we believe in developing worshipers who are also disciples, individuals who grow in their understanding of God’s Word, deepen their walk with Christ, and live lives of obedience and surrender. Our ministry intentionally disciples team members through devotionals, and leadership development. Whether someone sings, plays an instrument, runs media, or serves behind the scenes, every role is an opportunity to grow spiritually and live out our mission to Worship. Disciple. Multiply. We are not just building a team; we are building up people to lead others into the presence of God and into deeper relationship with Him.
SUNDAY WORSHIP
9a & 10:30a
The Worship Ministry leads us into the presence of God each week during both services.
Through heartfelt praise and Spirit-led excellence, they help set the tone for worship by declaring truth, encouraging unity, and preparing hearts to hear and respond to God’s Word. More than just music, their ministry is about lifting high the name of Jesus and creating space for people to encounter God in a powerful way.
WEDNESDAY REHEARSAL
6-7:30p
The Worship Choir gathers each week not just to rehearse, but to grow together as a worshiping community.
Every rehearsal is a time of preparation, spiritually and musically, as we align our hearts and voices to lead others in worship. These gatherings are filled with joy, prayer, encouragement, and genuine connection. It is more than practice; it is a time of encountering God together and building a family that leads with purpose and passion on Sundays.
