UPCOMING EVENTS!

WKND UNITED 2024

NOVEMBER 22-23

WKND United is a time for our students to grow closer to both God and each other through worship sessions, small group bible study, service projects, meals, games, and other activities. Worship sessions will be held at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church (701 Merchant Drive 37912). Students also will be serving together in various locations throughout the city on Saturday afternoon.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?

Students meet on the second floor. Our team will welcome you and guide you to where you need to be when you arrive!

WHAT HAPPENS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS?

Wednesday nights feature engaging student-led worship, relevant messages, and fun activities. It’s the perfect place for teens to connect, grow in their faith, and have a great time together!

WHAT ARE SUNDAY MORNING CONNECT GROUPS?

Our Sunday morning goal is simple: To help students connect and grow in their faith. Middle school, high school, and college students meet in age-specific small groups we call Connect Groups. These groups are led by dedicated and vetted volunteers. Each week, these leaders share lessons and facilitate discussions that engage students in practical, meaningful ways to impact their daily lives.

HOW CAN PARENTS SUPPORT SALEM STUDENTS?

Parents have a tremendous influence on their students, spending an average of 3,000 hours each year with them compared to the church’s 150 hours. We believe that what happens at home is ultimately more impactful than what happens at church. We encourage parents to spend time each week discussing the messages their kids have learned on Wednesdays and Sundays and to pray with them regularly. This helps reinforce their faith and fosters meaningful family connections.
