Our mission at Salem is to generously love people at home and around the world toward a growing relationship with Christ.

One of the Christlike characteristics of our church family is a heart of generosity toward people. We believe God wants to leverage that generosity as we live out His calling wherever He leads us, whether at home or around the world.

Our desire is to be a church that is characterized by these CORE VALUES:

PRAY FIRST!

We want to be a church family that commits to pray first. We believe the attitude and action of prayer is essential to everything we do. Through prayer we have access to the wisdom and power of God. (Matthew 9:37-38; Colossians 4:2-6)

PEOPLE MATTER!

We believe that people matter. People were not designed to go through life alone. We are committed to prioritizing relationships in every aspect of ministry. We believe through relationships we are able to learn, care for one other, and serve others better together than we can alone.
(Acts 2:42-47; Colossians 3:12-14)

GROWING PEOPLE CHANGE!

We believe the grace of God revealed in the gospel of Jesus Christ moves us to be transformed in every area of life: in giving, in serving, in loving, in kindness, in forgiveness. The gospel compels us to give wholeheartedly of ourselves to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 8:1-15; Colossians 2:1-7)

THE GOSPEL IS FOR EVERYONE!

We believe that the gospel is for everyone everywhere. We are to generously love others at home and around the world through the same love revealed in Jesus. The gospel has the power to change a life forever. We believe it is our responsibility to share the Good News.
(Matthew 28:18-20; Philippians
2:5-18)

At Salem, we believe community is an essential part of Christian life. Connect Groups and serving are two of the best ways to grow together as we grow closer to Christ.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS

SalemKids is a fun, safe environment for newborn – fifth grade. Our goal is to partner with parents so the Biblical teachings can carry on through the week.

We believe two combined influences make a greater impact than just two individual influences.

As mentioned above, our SalemKids check-in is located in our Welcome Center.

For those older kids, check out Salem Students for sixth grade – twelfth grade. SalemKids meets Sundays at 9a & 10:30a and Wednesdays from 6-7:30p.
