It’s doubtful there is any Christian who has not sometimes found it difficult to pray. God wants his people to know him more intimately, says author D. A. Carson. The apostle Paul found the kind of spiritual closeness in his own fellowship with the Father that is available to all of us.

Praying with Paul leads us into the Epistles to see what Paul taught in his “school of prayer.” In these sessions, you will be exposed to the priorities of prayer, a God-centered framework for prayer, and practices for a more meaningful and dynamic prayer life. Christians today can still achieve the confidence Paul enjoyed by following his life-shaping principles and searching for a deeper devotional experience.

    Facilitated by Stan Nalley • Room 140 • 6:15pm

Discipleship Explored helps followers of Jesus turn up the gospel soundtrack to their lives. It goes beyond simply teaching us to go to church, pray, read the Bible, share the gospel - and focuses on the music which drives discipleship: the love of Christ. The greatest love anyone can ever know.

This eight-session journey through Paul’s letter to the Philippians is ideal for believers at any stage of the Christian life. It features brand-new documentary-style films, inspiring real-life stories from around the world, Bible studies, and weekly reading plans. Session topics include: Confident in Christ, Living in Christ, One in Christ, Obedient in Christ, Righteous in Christ, Transformed in Christ, Rejoicing in Christ , and Content in Christ.

A Man and His Design challenges and equips men to go below the surface, to look deep into their hearts and explore some areas that are all too easy to ignore but that are critical in their journey toward Authentic Manhood. It introduces a framework and a process that will help men understand what lies behind the manhood traps and beneath the heart idols that can distract them from the truth and the power of the Gospel. Then it unfolds a biblical battle plan that helps men replace specific temptations and struggles with God's better promises. It deals head-on with issues that all of us as men can relate to like sexual lust, the need for control, unfounded fear and the pursuit of significance.

There are many important relationships in a man's life, and none deserve more care, focus, and investment than his relationship with his wife. A Man's marriage is meant to be and can be an incredible source of energy, joy, and intimacy. Whether your marriage feels hopeless and numb or is thriving and exciting, A Man and His Marriage is for you because it looks at what God says about the whole thing. It lays out an inspiring picture of God's vision for marriage that will change everything if you're “stuck” and will encourage you if you're already thriving.
